At Nunes Enterprise, we stand behind the quality of our shipping containers. This policy outlines our return and refund procedures to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining fair business practices.
We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on all shipping container purchases. If you are not completely satisfied with your container, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery. This guarantee applies to both new and used containers, giving you peace of mind with your purchase. The 30-day period begins on the delivery date shown on your signed delivery receipt.
To qualify for a return, the container must be in its original delivered condition with no modifications, alterations, or damage beyond normal inspection. This means no holes drilled, no welding performed, no paint or decals applied, and no fixtures permanently installed. The container must be empty and reasonably clean. You must provide the original purchase invoice and delivery receipt. Custom-ordered or modified containers are not eligible for return.
To initiate a return, contact our customer service team at 1-800-CONTAINERS or email returns@nunesenterprise.com within 30 days of delivery. Provide your order number, reason for return, and photos of the container if claiming defects. You will receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN) within 24 business hours. Schedule container pickup within 14 days of receiving your RAN. The container must be accessible for pickup at the original delivery location.
Once retrieved, our quality team will inspect the returned container within 2-3 business days. We check for structural integrity, modifications, unusual wear or damage, and compliance with return conditions. You will receive email notification of inspection results. If the return is approved, we process the refund immediately. If issues are found, we will contact you to discuss options.
Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after inspection approval. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase. Credit card refunds typically appear on your statement within one billing cycle. Bank transfer refunds may take 7-10 business days to appear in your account. We will email confirmation when the refund is processed.
Return shipping costs depend on the reason for return. We cover shipping costs if the container was damaged during delivery, the wrong size or type was delivered, or the container has manufacturing defects covered under warranty. Customers pay return shipping if returning due to change of mind, ordering errors on customer side, or site inability to accommodate the container. Return shipping typically costs $150-$500 depending on location and container size.
Certain items cannot be returned including containers with any modifications or customizations, containers purchased at clearance or final sale prices, containers kept beyond the 30-day return period, and used containers explicitly sold as-is without warranty. Damage occurring after delivery is not grounds for return but may be covered under warranty.
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours at no charge. Cancellations between 24-72 hours incur a 15% processing fee. Orders cannot be cancelled once the container is loaded for delivery. To cancel an order, contact us immediately at 1-800-CONTAINERS.
If you need a different size or type of container, we can arrange an exchange within the 30-day period. The original container must meet return eligibility requirements. Price differences will be charged or refunded accordingly. Exchange shipping fees apply, typically $200-$400 for the swap.
Many issues are covered under warranty rather than requiring a return. New containers include a 1-year warranty on structural integrity. Used containers come with a 90-day wind and watertight guarantee. Warranty service often resolves issues without the inconvenience of returning the entire container.
In some cases, we may offer a partial refund for minor issues that do not affect container functionality. This allows you to keep the container while receiving fair compensation for cosmetic imperfections or minor discrepancies. Partial refunds typically range from 5-15% of purchase price.
If you disagree with a return decision, you can appeal by contacting management@nunesenterprise.com with supporting documentation. We will review appeals within 3 business days and work toward a fair resolution. Customer satisfaction is our priority.
